Part 1 MRCOG exam held at Hangzhou venue
The Part 1 MRCOG exam was successfully held at Hangzhou venue on 2nd July 2018. This year the globally respected qualification exam of the membership of Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists had attracted 23 candidates across the mainland China, including two international graduates. Once again, Prof John Duthie, the special representative from RCOG and also an old friend of Hangzhou, came to invigilate the event. Much to his delight, the unprecedented candidate number marked the fifth year since the establishment of the venue, and probably the opening of an new era after a mutual collaboration reached earlier this year between RCOG and COGA. To the local organiser of the venue, the Women's Hospital of Zhejiang University School of Medicine, this was also a remarkable achievement attributed to its continuous input.
The vice president of the hospital Dr Xiaodong Chen greeted Prof John Duthie and had a friendly conversation with him.
