China venue for the Part 1 MRCOG exam was set up in 2012 in Women's Hospital School Of Medicine Zhejiang University. It is the twenty-fourth examination center established by the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology around the world.

The RCOG works to improve women’s health care across the world. Founded in 1929, we now have over 14,000 members worldwide and work with a range of partners both in the UK and globally to improve the standard of care delivered to women, encourage the study of obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G), and advance the science and practice of O&G. 

The RCOG is a truly international organisation of over 14,000 Fellows and Members worldwide. Around half of our members practise outside the UK, with over 6000 obstetricians and gynaecologists working in more than 100 countries including India, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, UAE... the list goes on.The Membership examination, which was first held in 1931, is intended for those who wish to specialise in obstetrics and gynaecology.
