WHZJU Holds China-Japan Online Academic Conference of Gynecological Oncology

    On June 17th, China-Japan Online Academic Conference of Gynecological Oncology was held at WHZJU. Experts and students of gynecology oncology at WHZJU and a team of over 30 experts from the Jikei University School of Medicine in Japan had in-depth dialogues, sharing their insights on new progress in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecology malignancies.

Professor Weiguo Lyu, dean of School of Obstetrics and Gynecology, ZUSM, chair of the conference, 

delivered a welcome speech to Chinese and Japanese experts who attended online and offline.

Professor Hui Wang, president of WHZJU, co-chair of the conference 

gave a general introduction on the hospital and the department of Gynecological Oncology.

Professor Aikou Okamoto, a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Jikei University School of Medicine, 

director of department of obstetrics and gynecology at the Jikei University Hospital,

 also introduced the development of obstetrics and gynecology of the Jikei University Hospital.

Professor Weiguo Lyu delivered a keynote speech 

on a metagenomic study of the vaginal microbiome in HPV16 infection and cervical lesions.

Professor Hui Wang gave a keynote speech on a study of the immune microenviroment in cervical cancer.

Professor Aikou Okamoto elaborated on treatment of ovarian cancer.

Experts from both sides had an in-depth discussion about the speech topics and exchanged their opinions.
