Zhan Hong Won the First Prize of the Third English Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in School of Medicine, Zhejiang University

On May 27, 2021, the Third English Teaching Competition for Young Teachers in School of Medicine, Zhejiang University was held in School of Medicine in Zijingang Campus, Zhejiang University. 11 young teachers from School of Basic Medicine, School of Public Health and School of Clinical Medicine participated in the competition. The juries include Yu Hai, professor from School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, Xu Xiangrong, chief director from Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, Zhao Lu, associate professor from School of Pharmacy, and Xie Wenjia, associate chief physician from the 3rd School of Clinical Medicine. 

Zhan Hong from Women’s Hospital, School of Medicine, Zhejiang University, participated in the teaching competition. During the teaching demonstration, she demonstrated the theme of her speech with fluent English, accurate professional explanation and teaching style with her personal characteristics. Combining basic theories with clinical cases, she vividly showed the disciplinary characteristics of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as her strong professional quality and high English teaching level. After fierce competition, Zhan Hong won the first prize in this competition.
